Ronald Clay Sidwell, 81

Ronald Clay Sidwell, 81, husband of Janet Estes Sidwell, passed away on Monday, December 24, 2018 at Clark Regional Medical Center.

A native of Clark County, Kentucky, he was born on November 16, 1937, to the late Maurice and Virginia Snowden Sidwell. He was retired from Proctor and Gamble and a member of Athens Christian Church. Mr. Sidwell was also a member of the Clark County Fish and Game Club and an avid hunter.

In addition to his wife of 59 years, he is survived by three sons, Larry (Wendi) Sidwell, David (Angie) Sidwell and Steven (Lisha) Sidwell; four grandchildren, Tamara (Ben) Forsyth, Kade Sidwell, Morgan (Micheal) Garrett and Chad Adams; two great grandchildren, Boone Forsyth and Sawyer Garrett; one brother, Herman Mitchell (Janice) Sidwell; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 10:00AM, Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Scobee Funeral Home by Pastor Mike McCormick. Burial will be in Winchester Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Chad Adams, Morgan Garrett, Kade Sidwell, Tamara Forsyth, Micheal Garrett, Ben Forsyth, Larry Stewart and Phillip Keller. Honorary pallbearers will be Claude Rhorer, Roy Jones, Sam Moore, Woody Moore, Wayne Joslin, Wade McGinnis, Joe Stewart, Doug Estes, Greg Abney, Juball Dawes and Clyde Holsapple.

Visitation will be Friday from 5:00-7:00PM at Scobee Funeral Home.
