Shirley Ann Stidham, 79, widow of the late Charles William Stidham, passed away after several years of battling dementia on Friday, October 12, 2018.

Shirley was born in Toledo, Ohio, on March 15, 1939, to the late Joseph and Leona Cheff Purpuard. She worked for St. Charles hospital for 25 years retiring in 1997.

She is survived by children, Katrina (Les) Yates, Wanda Berry, Clayton (Becky) Stidham; seven grandchildren and one great granddaughter; one brother, Gene Purpuard.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Joseph Purpuard and two sisters, Lena Jane Hamdan and Pearl Pinney.

Graveside services will be at 2:00PM on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery, 6382 Monroe Street, Sylvania, Ohio 43560. Scobee Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Those planning an expression of sympathy may consider a charity of the donor’s choice.
