Stamm: Grain management meeting Thursday in Richmond
Published 10:02 am Wednesday, October 3, 2018
With harvest time almost here, there is no better time to be thinking about post-harvest management of grain crops.
Join us Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Madison County Cooperative Extension Office for the Central Kentucky Post-Harvest Grain Management Meeting.
The meeting will teach how to minimize postharvest grain issues from mycotoxins, insects and other biological activity, and hear about the current market price and profitability potential for old and new crops. Kentucky Pesticide Certification and Certified Crop Advisor CEUs have been requested for this meeting.
Registration is closed.
For questions about the meeting, call the Madison County Extension Office at 859-623-4072 or the Clark County Extension Office at 859-744-4682.
Clay Stamm is one of the Clark County Cooperative Extension Service Agents for Agriculture and Natural Resources.
