Gladys Crawford Abney, 76, wife of Dallas R. Abney, passed away on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at her home.

She was born in Fayette County, Kentucky, on December 3, 1941, to the late Lee and Anna Crawley Crawford. She was a homemaker and previously worked at McAlpins.

In addition to her loving husband of 60 years, she is survived by three children, Renee Abney (James) Hittner, Tammy Abney (Steve) Roark and Rolla (Kandi) Abney; four grandchildren, Nathan Dixon, Aaron Roark, John Roark and Haley Abney; one sister, Margaret (Richard) Yeary; one great grandson, Kaden Dixon; several nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.

She was preceded in death by her parents; seven siblings; grandson, Cliff Robertson; and great grandson, Gavin Robertson.

Services will be at 2:00PM, Wednesday, August 29, 2018 by Pastor James Hittner, at Scobee Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 1:00PM until time of service on Wednesday.
