Food pantry at First Baptist Church
First Baptist Church, 37 N. Highland St., will open a food pantry in partnership with God’s Pantry from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. each Saturday at the church. The pantry will be open to those in need and for donations from the community. For more information, call the church at 744-6624.
Services at Salem Church at Pine Grove
In an increasingly polarized world, this Sunday the folks at Salem Church at Pine Grove, 312 Combs Ferry Road, will be learning more about what it means to be kind to one another. Worship at the “Small Country Church with a Big Heart for Jesus” begins at 11 a.m. Sundays. Then join us at 6 p.m. for an ice cream social and hymn sing. Bring some canned goods for our “Tower of Food” for the Clark County Community Services.
Services at First Presbyterian Church
Services at First Presbyterian Church, 130 Windridge Drive, will begin at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. Worship will be lively and traditional. Come dressed casual or formal, but more importantly, come expecting to be moved by the Spirit. Sunday school classes for children, youth and adults begin at 9:30 a.m. Sundays. Junior high and high school youth groups meet from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Sundays. All are welcome. The Rev. Ryan Bradney is pastor. Contact the church office at 744-3722 for more information.
