Fannie Ellen Hisle Martin went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, June 20, 2018 after completing 100 years on this earth.

She was born on June 15, 1918 in Madison County to the late John Andrew and Ida Melissa (Moore) Hisle. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Ernest Clay Martin and two children, Barbara Ellen and Bobby Gene; one grandchild, Marcia Miller; one son-in-law Lawrance Barrett; one daughter-in-law, Shirley Martin.

She left behind one daughter, Cora Barrett; four sons, Ernest Clay Martin (Deanna), Vernon Leroy Martin, Douglas E. Martin (Norma) and Paul Wayne Martin (Cathy).

She is also survived by 4 generations of family including, 10 grandchildren, Wayne Miller, Greg Baber (Ilona), Sherri Burgin (Bruce), Teresa Gail Church, Karen Patrick, Tammy Martin Hoehler (Jeffery), Janice Martin Vance (Lannie), Jerrod Wayne Martin (DeAnna), April Martin Huber (Joel) and Jon Paul Martin (Jessica). She was blessed with 22 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services honoring the life of Fannie Hisle Martin will be conducted at 1:30PM on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Scobee Funeral Home by Pastor Billy Keller, Rev. Tom Hall and Rev. Kenneth Bishop. Burial will follow in Clarmont Memorial Gardens.

Her grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Bruce Burgin and Jeffery Hoehler.

Visitation will be held from 11:30AM until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
