— Central Kentucky Coon Hunters Association annual flag retirement and veterans appreciation ceremony, 6 p.m. at the club house, 3601 Pine Ridge Road. — “Everything you need to know as a junior,” 5:30 p.m. at George Rogers Clark High School. Program is for current sophomores entering their junior year to learn tips, information and opportunities for the coming school year. Students and parents will learn about scholarships, advanced placement classes, vocational opportunities, the Governor’s Scholar Program, assessments, Governor’s School of the Arts and general college- and career-readiness.

— 2018 Preservation Awards, 6 p.m. at Leeds Center for the Arts. Winchester-Clark County Historic Preservation Commission will recognize eight projects and people for preservation work in the community.
