The following criminal cases were resolved in Clark Circuit Court May 10, 2018, with Judge William Clouse presiding.

— Shawn T. Faulk, second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument (10 counts), pleaded guilty, recommended three years; first-degree persistent felony offender, dismissed; sentencing June 21.

— Brett Gibbs, first-degree criminal abuse, amended to second-degree criminal abuse, pleaded guilty, recommended two years and one day, sentencing June 21.

— Crystal G. Hurt, third-degree possession of a controlled substance, pleaded guilty, recommended 30 days; prescription controlled substance not in proper container, pleaded guilty, recommended 10 days concurrent; first-degree promoting contraband, pleaded guilty, recommended one year concurrent; contempt of court, dismissed; sentencing June 21.

— Crystal G. Hurt, first-degree bail jumping, pleaded guilty, recommended one year, consecutive with previous case, sentencing June 21.

— Paul Smith, receiving stolen property under $10,000, pleaded guilty, recommended one year; first-degree possession of a controlled substance (two counts), pleaded guilty, recommended one year; third-degree possession of a controlled substance, pleaded guilty, recommended 360 days; sentencing June 21.

— Paul Smith, first-degree promoting contraband, pleaded guilty, recommended one year; first-degree possession of a controlled substance, pleaded guilty, recommended one year; sentencing June 21.

— Kyle Chase Cleaver, leaving the scene of an accident, sentenced to 364 days; third-degree burglary, pleaded guilty, sentenced to three years concurrent; first-degree criminal trespass, pleaded guilty, sentenced to 364 days concurrent; first-degree wanton endangerment, pleaded guilty, sentenced to one year concurrent; receiving stolen property, pleaded guilty, sentenced to one year concurrent.

— Derek Ray Hack, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, pleaded guilty, sentenced to one year, probated for two years.

— Wesley Eric Faulkner, probation violation, stipulated to non-payment, probation reinstated.

— Shane Martin, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (two counts), pleaded guilty, sentenced to two and a half years concurrent; first-degree promoting contraband, pleaded guilty, sentenced to one year concurrent.
