WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS
— On Tuesday, EMS personnel responded to 14 general medical calls, two cardiac cases and one respiratory case.
— At 11:59 a.m. Tuesday, EMS personnel responded to a motor vehicle accident at the 100 mile marker on Interstate 64.
— On Wednesday, EMS personnel responded to 17 general medical calls.
— At 8:40 a.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 1175 Enterprise Drive. It was a false alarm.
— At 9:32 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to a garbage fire in the road near 511 Hidden Hills Way.
WINCHESTER POLICE
Reports
— At 9:33 a.m. Tuesday, officers took a report concerning a stolen riding lawn mower and trailer.
— At 10:54 a.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 32 E. Lexington Ave. concerning an assault.
— At 3:05 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to Waveland and Carolina avenues for a foot pursuit for a person who was wanted for a warrant. Gary E. Oakley was arrested and charged with second-degree fleeing or evading police.
— At 4:02 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 250 Oxford Drive after a television was damaged.
— At 3:49 a.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 201 N. Main St. concerning an assault.
— At 8:03 a.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 230 Carolina Ave. concerning a theft of tools and clothes.
— At 11:37 a.m. Wednesday, officers took a rpeort concerning a theft of credit card information.
— At 4:42 p.m. Wednesday, officers took a report concerning a vandalism complaint.
— At 5:47 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 166 French Ave. concerning a theft of video games.
Charged
— Gary E. Oakley, 22, was charged Tuesday with second-degree fleeing or evading police.
— David Nawvael Matthews, 43, was charged Wednesday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and prescription controlled substance not in proper container.
CLARK COUNTY FIRE
— At 9:54 a.m. Tuesday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call at 12145 Irvine Road.
— At 11:59 a.m. Tuesday, firefighters responded to an injury accident on Interstate 64 near the 100 mile marker.
— At 8:21 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call at 12150 Irvine Road.
CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF
Charged
— Calvin L. Roland, 35, of 6882 Paris Road, was charged Tuesday with violation of an EPO/DVO.
Reports
— At 7:12 p.m. Tuesday, deputies were called to 244 Cook Ave. concerning an argument among juveniles in the road during which an older child reportedly pulled a handgun. After speaking with the juvenile and his father, it was determined they only had toy guns. The children were all advised to stay away from each other.
