County officials will close part of Morris Road on Monday to begin a bridge replacement project.
According to an email from Clark County Road Supervisor Kevin Wilson, the road will be closed between 1936 and 1955 Morris Road so workers can replace the bridge, which spans Little Stoner Creek.
Wilson said the closure should last about two weeks, depending on the weather.
In November, the Clark County Fiscal Court approved a resolution with Kentucky’s Rural Secondary Program to fund 80 percent of the project, up to a maximum of $65,760.
