Thomas Estes, 84

Thomas Estes, 84, husband of Mary Ann Estes, passed away Friday, March 23, 2018 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.
He was born on July 8, 1933 in Clark County to the late Claude and Ida Johnson Estes. Mr. Estes was the owner of Estes Gulf/ BP Service Station here in Winchester for over 30 years. He also was a truck driver and served his country proudly in the United States Navy serving during the Korean War.
In addition to his wife he is survived by two daughters, Peggy (John) Taylor and Tammy (Steve) Frederick. One son, Andy (Beverly) Estes. Two step-sons, David Shearer and Richard (Lorraine) Fraley. Two brothers, Donald and Wayne Estes. Three sisters, Wanda Wills, Bonnie Profitt and Sharon Betzing. Eight grandsons, one granddaughter and six great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Stephen Thomas Estes, a brother, Marvin Estes and a sister, Mildred Osborne.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at the Winchester Cemetery by Pastor Dan Jackson.
