LOUISVILLE — The Independent Insurance Agents of Kentucky (IIAK), the state’s leading insurance agents trade association, has appointed Danny S. Neely, II as its Emerging Leader Chair.

His appointment took place at the association’s 121st Annual Convention & Trade Show on Nov. 10 at The Brown Hotel in Louisville. This appointment also affords him a seat on the IIAK Board of Directors.

Neely is the owner of Neely and Wade Insurance Agency in Winchester, Kentucky. He has served IIAK in various capacities, most recently as a member of both the Education and Emerging Leader Committees.

In his community, Neely is the chairman of Clark County Trustees with United Way of the Bluegrass and a board member for the Winchester Rotary Club, Clark County Community Foundation and board  Winchester Federal Bank.

He has also served on the boards for the Winchester Council for the Arts and the Winchester-Clark County Chamber of Commerce.

He and his wife, Brittany, have one daughter, Margaret Dean, and one son, Trip.
