About 550 people attended the Clark County Preshool’s fall festival Thursday evening, creating a line that wrapped around the old Hannah McClure school on Beckner Street. Students and their families who attended the festival were treated to a dinner catered by Dickey’s BBQ in the school’s cafeteria.
After dinner, students were able to take part in several activities, including obstacle courses, games, dancing, face and hair painting, inflatables and more offered by the teachers and staff at the school.
Family Services Specialist Elisha Haile said the staff at the school was “blown away” by the turnout, which she said was helped by offering prizes for families including a big screen TV, several learning tablets for children and other items.
