Several Winchester businesses have partnered to bring a new concert to downtown Saturday.

Harpers Pawn Shop, Winchester Insurance, Kentucky Custom Screen Printing, Euro-Werks and Craft Nook are sponsoring Country on Main, a free concert showcasing country music acts on the steps of the Clark County Courthouse.

According to Jessica Marci, vice president of 5Star Advertisement, the organization the businesses are working with to plan the concert, the show will be an annual event.

“We are excited to bring attention to Winchester, and show how it is progressing,” Marci said.

The show will begin at 4 p.m. Saturday and last until 8 p.m., she said. Country music artists Avery Crabtree, Chelsea Noland, Joseph Edwards and Bryant Carter will be performing.

“There will be several retail and arts vendors, face painting for the children and food,” Marci said.

Food will be provided by local restaurant In & Out BBQ and Kathy’s Snack Shack.

Marci said she hopes Country on Main becomes one of several events 5Star creates in Winchester in the future.

“This is a family-oriented event, so bring the whole family for great music, positive vibes, food and festivities,” Marci said.
