Members of the Winchester Kiwanis Club donated bags of school supplies to Clark County’s public elementary and intermediate schools Aug. 18. The supplies came from a Kiwanis district convention Aug. 11-13 in Louisville. The wife of Kiwanis Governor Leigh Chagnon, had planned a service project for the more than 200 convention attendees to help the teachers at elementary schools have some supplies on hand for their use. Winchester Kiwanians delivered supplies to Justice, Conkwright, Shearer and Strode Station elementaries and Baker Intermediate.
