CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

Charged

— Dudley Whitt, 44, of West Liberty, was charged Saturday with driving under the influence (second offense), possession of open container of alcohol in motor vehicle and rear license not illuminated.

— Ashley Swartout 26, of Auburn, Alabama, was charged Sunday with driving under the influence and reckless driving.

Reports

— At 8:55 a.m. Friday, deputies were called to 75 Hillcrest Drive concerning a stolen vehicle. It was later found on Oxford Drive.

— At 4:32 p.m. Friday, deputies were called to Shell, 570 Van Meter Road, concerning an assault.

— At 6:18 a.m. Saturday, deputies were called to 173 Constitution concerning an accidental shooting. The victim, Scott Phillips, said one of his firearms fell when he opened a safe door. The gun discharged and shot Phillips in the leg.

— At 8:49 p.m. Saturday, deputies were called to 1489 Clintonville Road for a trespassing complaint at the University of Kentucky’s hemp test location.

— At 6:04 p.m. Saturday, deputies were called to Red Dot Storage, 4629 Rockwell Road, after someone broke into a storage unit.

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— During the weekend, emergency personnel responded to 38 general medical calls, seven cardiac cases, seven respiratory cases, two strokes, one seizure and two overdoses.

— At 5:52 p.m. Friday, firefighters responded to a Dumpster fire at Hill and Main streets.

Charged

— Chinia Renee Adams, 40, was charged Sunday with third-degree burglary, public intoxication, possession of marijuana, carrying a concealed deadly weapon, possession of drug paraphernalia and fraudulent use of an ID or EBT card (two counts).

— Magie R. Blanton, 30, was charged Sunday with being a fugitive from another state.

— Matthew Alexander Carmen, 23, was charged Saturday with receiving stolen property and second-degree fleeing or evading police.

— David Allen Charles, 36, was charged Saturday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance.

— Amanda G. Coffey, 32, was charged Friday with public intoxication and theft by unlawful taking.

— Zackery Lennon Cummins, 18, was charged Sunday with second-degree fleeing or evading police.

— Billy J. Estes, 41, was charged Sunday with alcohol intoxicaiton, possession of drug paraphernalia and terroristic threatening.

– April N. Exum, 38, was charged Friday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

— Randall Craig Smith, 28, was charged Friday with theft by unlawful taking.

— At 12:24 p.m. Friday, officers were called to Walmart, 1859 Bypass Road, concerning a theft. Randall Craig Smith was arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking.

— At 7:11 p.m. Friday, officers were called to 1480 W. Lexington Ave. concerning a theft. Amanda C. Coffey was arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking and public intoxicaiton.

— At 7:29 p.m. Friday, officers were called to 1309 Dale Drive concerning suspected drug activity. April N. Exum was arrested and charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

— At 8:42 p.m. Friday, officers took a report concerning an incident at McDonald’s.

— At 2:35 a.m. Saturday, officers took a report concerning an assault.

— At 2:14 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to 543 N. Maple St. after a car was vandalized.

— At 6:59 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to 528 Hidden Hills Way concerning a theft involving a stolen debit card.

— At 7:37 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to Walmart, 1859 Bypass Road, concerning a damaged vehicle.

— At 1:49 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to 22 Sterling St. concerning a stolen cell phone.

— At 2:54 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to 223 W. Hickman St. concerning a stolen bicycle.

— At 10:30 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to Walmart, 1859 Bypass Road, concerning a theft.
