CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

Charged

— William Kretzer, 69, of 4405 Iron Works Road, was charged Friday with first-degree wanton endangerment.

— Bradley Thompson, 28, of 41 Madison Ave., was charged Friday with third-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, driving under the influence (second offense), possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to illuminate lights.

— Logan James Hensley, 21, of Villa Hills, was charged Sunday with public intoxication and possession of marijuana.

— Oumaima Karimi, 20, of Erlanger, was charged Sunday with driving under the influence and reckless driving.

Reports

— At 6:41 p.m. Friday, deputies were called to 4405 Iron Works Road concerning a man threatening Clark County firefighters. William Kretzer was arrested and charged with first-degree wanton endangerment.

— At 5:44 p.m. Friday, deputies were called to 2060 Two Mile Road for a harassing communication complaint.

Accidents

— At 7:13 p.m. Friday, deputies responded to an injury accident on Interstate 64 near the 91 mile marker in which Christopher Daniels of Bluffton, South Carolina was traveling east on a scooter when he was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Alvaro S. Moran of 524 Hidden Hills Way. Moran told deputies he saw the scooter start to wobble but couldn’t avoid it because of traffic in other lanes. Daniels was thrown from the scooter upon impact. He was transported to the University of Kentucky Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— During the weekend, emergency personnel responded to 34 general medical calls, one cardiac case, four respiratory cases, one diabetic case, six seizures and two overdoses.

— At 6:09 p.m. Friday, firefighters were called to Buckner and Hickman streets for an unauthorized fire.

— At 9:39 a.m. Saturday, firefighters were called to 702 Pear Court for a vehicle fire.

— At 12:20 a.m. Sunday, firefighters were called to 116 Kentucky St. for a brush fire.

— At 7:54 a.m. Sunday, firefighters were called to Campbell Junior High School, 620 Boone Ave., for an alarm sounding. It was a false alarm.

CLARK COUNTY FIRE

— At 12:45 a.m. Friday, firefighters were called to 1243 The Ridings for an investigation.

— At 6:01 p.m. Friday, firefighters were called to 3282 Old Ruckerville Road for a gas leak.

— At 6:21 p.m. Friday, firefighters were called to 4405 Iron Works Road for an illegal fire.

— At 7:44 p.m. Friday, firefighters responded to an injury accident on Interstate 64 near the 91 mile marker.

— At 8:35 a.m. Saturday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call at 576 Pine Ridge Road.

— At 12:08 p.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to a possible drowning at 2899 Two Mile Road.

— At 6:26 p.m. Sunday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call at 219 Hickory Lane.

WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

— Ladonna F. Blackwell, 31, was charged Sunday with theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property (two counts).

— Caleb Wayne Brown, 21, was charged Saturday with public intoxication, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

— David Christopher Crowell, 41, was charged Friday with fourth-degree assault, violation of an EPO/DVO, alcohol intoxication, disorderly conduct, terroristic threatening (two counts) and third-degree assault (two counts).

— Joseph Clarence Holliman, 61, was charged Saturday with driving under the influence.

— Shannon Mattingly, 38, was charged Saturday with public intoxication, second-degree burglary and first-degree criminal trespass.

— At 8:08 a.m. Friday, officers were called to 118 Olde Potomac Drive concerning a theft of tools and a generator.

— At 2:27 p.m. Friday, officers were called to 720 Boone Ave. concerning a stolen license plate.

— At 3:51 p.m. Friday, officers were called to 148 W. Lexington Ave. concerning a domestic disturbance.

— At 8:34 p.m. Friday, officers were called to 1307 W. Lexington Ave. for a domestic disturbance. David Christopher Crowell was arrested and charged with multiple offenses.

— At 2:22 a.m. Saturday, officers were called to 5 Wainscott Ave. concerning a stolen bicycle.

— At 7:46 a.m. Saturday, officers were called to 11 Hughes Ave. concerning a breaking and entering complaint.

— At 6:38 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to 11 Hughes Ave. for a breaking and entering complaint. Shannon Mattingly was arrested on multiple offenses.

— At 8:32 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to Speedway, 39 S. Maple St., concerning a theft.

— At 11:06 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to 1 Seminole Trail for a domestic disturbance.

— At 3:12 a.m. Sunday, officers were called to 1480 W. Lexington Ave. concerning a theft of beer.

— At 9:38 a.m. Sunday, officers were called to 201 N. Main St. concerning a theft.

— At 11:51 a.m. Sunday, officers were called to 359 E. Broadway St. after someone hit the mailbox.

— At 2 p.m. Sunday, officers took a report concerning the caller’s bank information being used without permission.

— At 4:25 p.m. Sunday, officers took a report concerning a stolen chain saw and a weed trimmer.

— At 4:35 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to 27 E. Washington St. for a fight in progress.

— At 7:50 p.m. Sunday, officers took a report concerning a recovered purse.

— At 8:11 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to 519 College St. concerning a person following the caller.

— At 9:22 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to 4110 Bybee Road concerning an assault on French Avenue.

— At 10:33 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to Kroger, 1661 Bypass Road, concerning a possibly tainted banana.

Accidents

— At 4:55 p.m. Friday, officers responded to an injury accident on North Main Street in which Leila Reinersman of 12 Cook Ave. stopped at the intersection with Holly Avenue and turned onto North Main Street in front of an oncoming motorcycle, driven by Christopher D. Brock of 33 Elizabeth St. Brock was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with possible leg injuries.
