One woman has been hospitalized following a wreck on Interstate 64 Saturday evening.

According to Winchester Fire Department officials, an SUV driving eastbound at a high rate of speed crashed into the back of a semi truck about 6 p.m. near mile marker 94.

The driver of the vehicle was transported to a hospital.

The Clark County Sheriff’s office reported that alcohol was a suspected factor in the crash.

Sheriff Berl Purdue Jr. said Sunday that no new information has been release regarding the accident.
