Part of Interstate 64 through Clark County will be closed at nights for the rest of July.
According to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, there will be double lane closures from the Fayette County line to mile marker 94 in Clark County beginning at 7 p.m. tonight. The closures will be in effect from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m nightly through July 28, excluding Saturdays. One lane will remain open for traffic.
Lanes will also be closed in Fayette County from mile marker 82 to the Clark County line.
Crews will be patching the pavement.
The Cabinet also announced the westbound lane closure on the Mountain Parkway will continue through Tuesday. Those lanes have been closed to allow crews to restore and waterproof the bridge over Interstate 64 in Clark County. Westbound traffic (coming from Powell County) will be detoured at exit 10 in Clark County and routed through Winchester.
The work schedule is subject to weather and other factors.
