Strawberry Supper at Trinity UMC 

Trinity United Methodist Church, 306 N. Main St., will host a strawberry supper from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 23. Admission is $4 for adults and $2 for children 12 and younger.

Providence Baptist Church VBS

First Baptist Church VBS 

First Baptist Church, 32 E. Lexington Ave., will host “Galactic Starveyors” Vacation Bible School June 18-22. There will be a kick-off party from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday and VBS will be from 6 to 8 p.m. nightly June 19-22. Dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m. each night. First Presbyterian Sunday services 

First Presbyterian Church, 130 Windridge Drive, will have worship services at 10:30 a.m. Worship is traditional and lively, sharing God’s word through song, prayer and preaching. Celebrate Recovery meetings on Tuesdays

Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered recovery program based on the eight beatitudes, the 12 steps and their biblical comparisons. This program is for any hurt, hang-up or habit. There is childcare available for ages newborn to 4 years and Celebration Place, a pre-covery program for ages 5 to 12. The meetings are every Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Calvary Christian Church, 15 Redwing Drive. The Landing is a support program based on the eight beatitudes for teens struggling with issues such as family relationships, food issues, being bullied, low self-esteem, drugs, alcohol, cutting or behavior problems. The meetings are from 7 to 8:45 p.m. Tuesdays at the Redwing Campus.
