Johnny Wayne Burgess, 54, of Winchester, passed away Monday, May 29, 2017, at the Stanton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

He was born on May 29, 1963, in Clark County to the late Grover D. Burgess and Rebecca Sue Henry Teeters. He worked in construction for over 30 years.

Survivors include six children, Michael Tipton, Tasha Watkins, Brittany Bailey, Brett Morguson, Austin Tipton, Whitney Tipton; two sisters, Debbie Cooper of Winchester and Tina Daggs of TX; two brothers, Billy Burgess and Timothy Teeters, both of TX; he also leaves behind his dog, Duece; two aunts, Donna Oldfield and Barbara Henry; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be at 2:00PM Friday, June 2, 2017, at Scobee Funeral Home by Pastor Ryan Dotson. Burial will follow in Clarmont Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Mark Wells, Dale Hatton, Gary Griffith, Jeffery Wigglesworth, Lloyd Stanfield and Woody Bailey.
