Samuel Harrison Dyer, 78

Samuel Harrison Dyer, 78, of Winchester, widower of Christine Conkwright Dyer, passed away Monday, May 8, 2017 at his home.

He was born on October 24, 1938, in Clark County to the late John Roland and Sarah Alice Hisle Dyer. Samuel worked in the construction industry as a plasterer. He was a member of the Church of the Living God in Winchester.

Survivors include one daughter, Kathy Jarman of Winchester; two sons, Samuel D. Dyer of Winchester and Leslie (Cathy) Dyer of Winchester; five grandchildren, Shannon Johnson, Megan Jarman, Cassie Jarman, John D. Dyer and Kelsey L. Wells; five great-grandchildren, Darius, Saddie, Andres, Annabella and Daylan; he also leaves behind one brother, Henry Dyer.

Services will be conducted 11:00AM Thursday, May 11, 2017, at the Church of the Living God by Pastors Tom Hall and Mike Smith. Burial will follow at Clarmont Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be John Douglas Dyer, Mario Arreguin, Dennis Sams and Dana Jones.

Visitation will be held from 9:30AM until the time of service Thursday at the church.
