Easter egg hunt at Journey Church
Journey Church, 108 Hemlock Road, will have an Easter egg hunt following the 11 a.m. service Sunday, April 16. The public is welcome.
Egg hunt at Epperson FCOG
Epperson First Church of God will have an Easter egg hunt during its children’s church services at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, April 9, which is Palm Sunday. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Gospel singing at Evangelist Outreach
There will be a gospel singing at 6 p.m. Saturday at Evangelist Outreach Ministry Church, 8 Bloomfield Road. Special guest will be Robbie Masters along with local talent.
Conversation and Communion
Conversation and Communion (Emmanuel Episcopal Church) will be on break through the month of April. The group will resume meeting at 5:30 p.m. each Tuesday beginning May 2.
Celebrate Recovery meetings on Tuesdays
Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered recovery program based on the eight beatitudes, the 12 steps and their biblical comparisons. This program is for any hurt, hang-up or habit. There is childcare available for ages newborn to 4 years and Celebration Place, a pre-covery program for ages 5 to 12. The meetings are every Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Calvary Christian Church, 15 Redwing Drive. The Landing is a support program based on the eight beatitudes for teens struggling with issues such as family relationships, food issues, being bullied, low self-esteem, drugs, alcohol, cutting or behavior problems. The meetings are from 7 to 8:45 p.m. Tuesdays at the RAC, 17 S. Main St. For more information, call Dickie at Calvary Christian Church at 744-0817.
