Hydrant flushings continue Monday
Winchester Municipal Utilities will be flushing hydrants in the following areas Monday: Arlington Road, Ashland Avenue, Atrium Place, North Bloomfield Road, South Bloomfield Road, Bon Haven Avenue, Camden Drive, Caneweood Drive, Carolina Avenue, West Clark Drive, Crawford Avenue, Crawford Court, Fairview Avenue, Finley Road, Fitch Avenue, Floyd Clay Drive, Forest Avenue, Forest Court, Foster Avenue, Franklin Avenue, Fulton Road, Hart Avenue, Holiday Road, Irvine Road, Jackson Street, Jefferson Street, Leonard Avenue, West Lexington Avenue, Long Avenue, Mack Alley, Maryland Avenue, McCann Drive, Nelson Avenue, New Street, Pendleton Street, West Robinson Court, Smith Avenue, Sunset Heights, Sylvania Avenue, Victory Avenue, Vine Street, Virginia Avenue, Wabash Avenue, Walker Avenue, East Washington Street. Class of 1948 meeting Wednesday
The Clark County High School class of 1948 will meet for lunch at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 5, at Maddie’s on Main.
GRC site-based council to meet
The George Rogers Clark High School-based Decision-making Council will meet at 4 p.m. Monday, April 10, at the school’s SBDM conference room.
Fix A Cat Campaign to host Kentucky Humane Society speaker
The Fix A Cat Campaign will meet from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 6, at the Clark County Public Library. Guest speaker Katheryn Callahan, Kentucky state director of The Human Society of the United States, will present, “Kentucky is the worst state for animals. Mason Lodge to host fish fry
The Winchester Masonic Lodge No. 25 will have a fish fry starting at 11 a.m. Saturday at 35 N. Bloomfield Road. Cost is $5 for a fish sandwich, $7 for dinner (including two sides) and $1 for drinks. The event will continue until food is sold out.
