The George Rogers Clark High School Lady Cardinals celebrated their 40th District Championship  Friday night at the Bath County High School gym in Owingsville. Clark’s girls beat Bath’s girls 60-42, both teams advance to next week’s 10th Region Tournament at Bourbon County High School.

Winners in the Winchester Country Club’s Bridge Association play at the clubhouse were: Bea Cross, first; Evelyn Norris, second, and Bettye Guy, Lucky.Small slams were made by Mrs. Norris and Frances Pennington and Virginia Thornberry.

Demonstrations and discussions on 4-H Camp highlighted the fourth-grade 4-H Club meeting Thursday afternoon at Fannie Bush School.
