Clark County motorists have until March 1 to purchase 1967 automobile license plates. County Clerk Clyde Gravett noted today that some 3,000 car licenses and about 800 truck licenses have been sold by his office. Gravett estimated that the total sale of all licenses will reach 13,000.
“The Spirits” will play for St. Agatha Academy Saturday evening. The group is composed of Joe Everman, lead singer; Roy Burns, lead guitar; Ralph Epperson, rhythm guitar; Billy Kennon, bass guitar; Terry Phillips, drums, and Bruce Carpenter, organ.
Winchester has its own “Brytaine Sound” as that is the name of a local combo composed of five boys who are students at George Rogers Clark High School. Combo members are Cliff Shrout, Mark Thompson, Danny Rupard, Cue Early and Phil Humble.
