Charged
—Michelle Mae Austin, 43, was charged Thursday with second-degree possession of a controlled substance and illegal possession of a legend drug.
— Brian Orlan Sparks, 40, was charged Thursday with tampering with physical evidence, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, theft of identity and was served a warrant.

— At 12:10 a.m. Thursday, officers were called to 213 S. Highland St. concerning a theft of tools form a vehicle.
— At 12:57 a.m. Thursday, officers were called to Kroger, 1661 Bypass Road, concerning two suspected shoplifters. Michelle Mae Auston and Brian Orlan Sparks were arrested for multiple offenses.
— At 3:24 a.m. Thursday, officers were called to the Clark County Detention Center, 30 Wall St., for an investigation.
— At 6:18 a.m. Thursday, officers were called to 4 Shelley Drive concerning a theft of tools from a truck.
— At 9:42 a.m. Thursday, officers were called to 362 S. Main St. concerning a theft.
— At 5:44 p.m. Thursday, officers took a report concerning a stolen handgun.
— At 7:06 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to 450 S. Main St. concerning a stolen scooter.
— At 7:11 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to CVS Pharmacy, 31 W. Broadway St., concerning a person attempting to pass a forged prescription.

— At 2:06 p.m. Thursday, firefighters were called to 4 W. Washington St. for a fire in a cooking exhaust system. The fire was out on arrival.
