Joe Neal Crawford, 84, husband of Mildred Evelyn Brashear Crawford, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2017 with his family by his side at the Paul Patton Eastern Kentucky Veterans Center in Hazard, KY. He was born on June 22, 1932 in Clark County to the late Thomas Sissle and Edith Gosser Crawford. He was a retired owner of Crawford Tool and Die. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in the Korean War. He was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.

In addition to his loving wife of 66 years he is survived by, one son, Timothy Neal (Stacey) Crawford, three daughters, Melissa (Russ) Crawford Murphey, Josephine Ellen Crawford and Jennifer Evelyn Crawford. Ten grandchildren, Joseph Arthur Crawford, Elizabeth Crawford Richardson, Shelby Lynn Crawford, Jessica Dawn Crawford, Shelby Lynn Powell, Amanda Lee Powell, John Robert Powell, Brandon James Broadus, Jonah Michael Gant and Isabelle Fran Murphey; three brothers, Harold Crawford, Sam Crawford, Wayne Crawford; Several great-grandchildren and many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Louise Crawford Isaacs.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
