NARFE met Oct. 25

Chapter 1828 of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association met at noon on Tuesday, Oct. 25, at Taste of China. Kevin Palmer, Winchester chief of police, was the guest speaker. He presented an informative program telling our group about his background and the different functions of the police department.
Present for the meeting were Betty Hollon, Audrey King, Jane Leonard, Elizabeth Bunch, Fred Dulin, Teresa Dulin, Phillip Jackson, Helen Parsons, Kevin Palmer, Will Bentley, Cindy Bentley, Ann C. Hall, Lila Omohundro, Dorothy Dewey, Grace Ingram, Pat Gibbs, Janice Taulbee and Denver Parks.
The next meeting will be a covered-dish dinner and fundraiser at noon Tuesday, Dec. 6, at Central Baptist Church .
