In celebration of George Rogers Clark High School being named a distinguished school of distinction in this year’s Unbridled Learning test scores report from the Kentucky Department of Education, students received a free lunch Thursday of 1,500 pork chops and 500 hot dogs donated by the Clark County Farm Bureau, Clark County Cattlemen, Clark County Fair Board and John Hendricks.
The organizations sent volunteers Thursday morning to brave the rain and help prepare the food so it would be ready by the time students went to lunch.
