MARY ELIZABETH ELLER ASHBURN
Mary Elizabeth Eller Ashburn, 80, of 12 Valley Drive, passed away Feb. 14 at Clark Regional Hospital. She is survived by her husband, William Ashburn; two sons, Jerry (Stella) Ashburn and Donald (Freda) Ashburn; one daughter Sherry (Ray) Runyons, Powell County; four grandchildren, Devin and Sean Ashburn, Winchester, Ashton Runyons, Powell County, and Anson Ashburn of Louisville. Burial was in Cookeville, Tenn.CAROLYN ANN BRANHAM LUCAS
Carolyn Ann Branham Lucas, 65, of Winchester, wife of Frank Lucas, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 23, at Clark Regional Medical Center. She was born in Clark County on Feb. 10, 1945, to the late William O. and Anna Virginia Adams Branham. She was formerly employed at the Curlee Clothing Factory, and was a member of the Winchester Christian Baptist Church of God. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, David (Michelle) Lucas; two daughters, Angie Mooney and Edie Roldan; two brothers and sisters-in-law, William J. (Suzanne) Branham and Jerry T. (Lynn) Branham; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Phyllis (Jim Hanna) Dunn and Virginia (James) Willoughby; eight grandchildren, Amy Mooney and Coty Johns, Heather (Don) Spencer, Eric Lucas, Evan Lucas, Noah Lucas, Kimberly Lucas, Nicholas Roldan and Hannah Roldan; three great-grandchildren, Lainey Johns, Adam Johns and Austin Spencer; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two children, Tina Lucas and Daniel Lucas; grandchild, Adam Mooney; a brother, Bobby Ray Branham Sr. and sister-in-law, Cora Lee Johnson. Funeral services will be Friday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Lee Cruse at Rolan G. Taylor Funeral Home, 289 S. Main St. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Winchester Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Monte Stamper, Jerry Branham, Bobby Ray Branham Jr., Justin Branham, William “Bill” Dunn and Danny Dunn Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be James Willoughby, Don Spencer, Coty Johns, Keith Branham, Curtis Dunn, Michael Dunn and Cody Willoughby.FANNIE WATTS PALMER
Fannie Watts Palmer, 84, widow of Raymond Palmer, passed away Thursday at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. A native of Clark County, she was the daughter of the late Jesse L. and Eva Warner Watts. Mrs. Palmer was a homemaker and a member of the Epperson First Church of God. Survivors include a daughter, Elaine (Mike) Aldridge of Smyrna, Tenn.; a son, Johnny Ray (Linda) Palmer of Clark County; six grandchildren, Kelly Palmer, Chris and Tony Kirk, David Aldridge, Ashley A. Howell and Kevin Palmer; 14 great-grandchildren; a brother, Jesse Watts, Jr. of Clarksville, Tenn.; two sisters, Ruth Abney and Mayme Crowe, both of Winchester; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Scobee Funeral Home by the Rev. Chris Williams. Burial will follow in the Clarmont Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Kevin Palmer, Kelly Palmer, Jimmy Hampton, Logan Kirk, Chris Kirk and David Aldridge. Visitation will be 10 a.m. Saturday. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Epperson First Church of God, 14475 Irvine Road, Winchester, KY 40391.
