Obituary for Feb. 10

BETTY J. BRANHAM

Betty J. Branham, 74, widow of Hobart L. Branham, passed away at 12:02 p.m. Monday at the Hospice Care Center.

A native of Powell County, she was the daughter of the late Elbie and Rosie Shuler Sparks.

Mrs. Branham was a homemaker and a member of the Ark of Mercy Church of God.

Survivors include three daughters, Audrey Rodriguez of Nicholasville, Sue Trisete of Florida and Joyce Hurst of Dayton, Ohio; a son, Randy Patrick of Winchester; four grandchildren, Millie Franklin, Lachrishia Patrick, Leighanna Houdieshell and Brian Hurst; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Thelma Perkins; eight brothers, Bob, Denzil, Junior, Clay, Jim, Lonnie, Wendell and Charlie Sparks; six stepchildren; and a number of stepgranchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Branham was preceded in death by a daughter, Carol Patrick and a son, Jerry Patrick.

Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at Scobee Funeral Home by the Rev. Warren Rogers.

Burial will follow in the Branham Cemetery in Wolfe County.

Pallbearers will be Benjamin Franklin, Ronnie Rodriguez, Bob Sparks, Junior Sparks, Neal Sparks and Brad Sparks.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. Friday until the hour of service.
